Born officially (and luckily) on 7/7/07, Amicus consists of a group of friends, sick of wasting excessive amounts of money on name brand clothing just to blend in with the crowd. They wanted something innovative and unique. Every Amicus Design stems from styles and ideas that the designers favor themselves. With the many designers Amicus works with, there's an array of inventive styles to choose from. All the designers are credited and identified for their creations; their names are presented on the inside tag area of each garment. Although each designer is recognized individually, they all band together under the unity of Amicus Clothing Company. The name “Amicus” was carefully picked for its Latin meaning and the power held within that meaning. Amicus Clothing Company is here to put artistic and imaginative ideas out there for those willing to break free of social norms and embrace change!.
If you’re a friend of Amicus and you’re interested in submitting your own ideas for design, we’re always open to suggestions. Send them to us electronically and if we decide to use yours, you’ll have total design control with choosing color schemes and placements of the graphics, etc. We will pay for the printing of your designs, and you will receive a free shirt; however, we cannot pay you directly for your design. By submitting design ideas to us, you are handing over all rights to Amicus. When you give us a design, you have the opportunity of displaying your talents and thoughts to a wider audience (i.e. Amicus Clothing, friends of Amicus, and everyone who sees anyone wearing it).
